Leadership Professional Learning

We will be releasing a seminar series for school and district administrators soon.

We developed this seminar series because, to this point, significant attention has focused on the needs of teachers to be comfortable teaching in remote and hybrid learning environments. Teachers, however, need school and district leaders to be knowledgeable about remote learning issues and challenges in order to be supportive. This seminar series fills that need.

Leading the Transition to Remote Learning: An interactive seminar series for school and district administrators will cover the following topics

  • Building a solid foundation for growth of digital learning

  • Communicating with staff, students, families, and stakeholders

  • Fostering a community of innovation

  • Developing operational processes and procedures

  • Managing learners’ technological needs

  • Meeting the needs of special populations

  • Assessing and procuring quality digital content

  • Providing staff structures for personal and professional growth

  • Evaluating teachers in the digital learning classroom

Seminar structure
The seminar series is built around three one-hour, small-group, cohort-based, live and interactive sessions that will include a mix of presentation and discussion:

  • Seminar 1: Leading a Digital Learning Transition

  • Seminar 2: Considering Program Designs and Key Operations

  • Seminar 3: Supporting Teachers and Ensuring Quality Content

In addition, an online learning portal will be available to all seminar participants who seek to dig further into concepts explored and discussed in the live sessions.

Seminar dates
We schedule seminars based on district cohorts registering for the series, with a minimum cohort of 20 registrations.
